Noel Lucia

''Sankta Lucia~
Today is the 13:th of december and where I live we celebrate this day in memory to the Italian Saint Lucia.
This day is celebrated in such way that children in schools around the country(and also adults in some cases) dress up in various white robe while they walk in procession as they sing and hold a lit candle in thier hand.
And at the very front leading everyone is the star of the show, the on representing saint Lucia herself, wearing a crown with lit candles ontop, as a sort of gloria or ''to light the way''. (though it's rare to use real candles because you know..Fire and hair can be quite messy ).. And most of the singing is quiet lovely in it's own way.
(Might I also add that describeing this so that everyone would or might unserstand turned out much harder than I thought it to be )

In anycase, I thought it would be really wonderful and sweet to see Noel dressed up as Lucia, sing for both Fiddee and Iris as they sleept in bed, only to be woken up to her singing and with the sweet smell of saffranbuns and warm chocolate~ ^~^
Of course Fiddee helped her with a lot of things, helping her get dressed, litting the candles and warm everything up, but in the end she was still the star ^^
It has really bugged me that I wasn't able to draw this last year, so I really worked hard to get this up in time(even got early to work in order to get home earlier XD ) so now feel really happy to have been able to finally draw this of Noel dressed up as Lucia~ ^^
